6th Annual Pet Palooza Slated for June 5!
Maddie's® Pet Rescue Project announces the sixth annual Maddie’s® Pet Palooza! Pet Fair and Super Pet Adoption to be held Saturday, June 5, 2010 in the Mitchell Center. The event will kick-off at 10:00 a.m. and run until 3:00 p.m.
We would like to invite you to be a part of this fun family-pet event.
NEW THIS YEAR! Smaller booths available! Early bird special! Single booths are available for just $35 each and are 8’ x 8’. Double booths are available for $50 and are 16’ x 8’. If you sign up BEFORE May 7, single booths are just $30 and double booths are just $40. You can rent tables from the Mitchell Center for $10.00 each or bring your own. Chairs will be provided. You are responsible for covering and decorating your table.
The four Maddie’s Pet Rescue Project adoption guarantee partners will have over 150 dogs and cats ready for adoption. All pets will be spayed or neutered, vet checked, up to date on vaccinations and microchipped. Plenty of vendors will be on hand with gifts and information for pets and people including training, pet sitting, holistic foods, jewelry, spay/neuter, cool t-shirts and more!
We will advertise the event on the radio, billboards and in the newspaper. We will also circulate flyers, posters, newsletters, and email updates. We will participate in radio and television interviews.
If you have your booth reservation and check into the Maddie’s Pet Rescue Project office by May 7, 2010 you will be included in the printed material. Your name and booth will be featured on the Mobile SPCA website. All proceeds benefit the Maddie’s Pet Rescue Project in Mobile.

Memorial Brick On Sale! The Mobile SPCA is 125 years old this year! We will be celebrating the big event in October. We are selling more memorial bricks hoping to complete our Memorial Garden before October. If you are interested in purchasing a memorial brick, please download the attached order form and return it to the office. The deadline for ordering bricks is July 1.
You can honor or memorialize a pet, friend or family member with a beautiful, permanently engraved brick.
We will send a letter and a certificate acknowledging your memorial or honorarium to each brick recipient with the inscription you have chosen. If you like, the recipient can write their own inscription.
Our beautiful, engraved bricks are 4” x 8”. Each brick can have up to 3 lines of type with 14 characters per line. Bricks are $40 for the first brick and $35 for each additional brick you purchase.
Your bricks will be permanently displayed in our Memorial Garden. If you have any questions, please call (251) 633-3531 or come by the Mobile SPCA office at 620 Zeigler Circle West Monday through Friday from 10:00 am to 5:30 pm and Saturday from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. The deadline for ordering bricks is July 1, 2010.
We have had a huge influx of puppies and are in need of newspapers and toys! If you can help, please bring your old but still play-with-able toys
and newspapers to the Mobile SPCA office. We would also
be grateful for gift cards to purchase toys at
B&B PetStop, PetSmart, Pet Supplies Plus, Walmart, or
any store that sells pet toys!
